Where Cleaning Standards Come From the Product
In most towns, how clean a building needs to be is a matter of appearance and preference. In a food processing town it is neither — the standard is set by what is being made, by the auditors who check it, and by the consequences of getting it wrong.
That raises the baseline for everyone. Facilities with food-contact areas run their own sanitation programs to their own protocols, and that is properly their responsibility, not a cleaning contractor’s. But the buildings around that core — the offices, locker rooms, break rooms, corridors, restrooms and administration space — still need doing, and they need doing to a standard that does not embarrass the operation.
Our team provides commercial cleaning, janitorial service and floor care for businesses throughout Napoleon and Henry County. We are clear about where our scope sits, in writing, before we start.

What We Do — and Where the Line Sits
In facilities with regulated production areas, an honest contractor tells you what they are not doing as clearly as what they are.
Offices & administration
Workstations, conference rooms, reception and corridors on a nightly or several-nights-weekly schedule, with detail dusting on the list rather than on the exception list.
Restrooms & locker rooms
Cleaned to a fixed list every visit with approved germicidal detergent, dispensers restocked. In a shift facility these are the highest-frequency areas in the building.
Break rooms & cafeterias
Tables, counters, appliance exteriors, sinks and floors. Hard floors in a break room take grease and constant chair movement, so they usually want a shorter maintenance cycle than the rest of the building.
Non-production hard floors
Corridors, entries, docks and warehouse areas outside regulated zones. Machine cleaning on a cycle, plus strip and wax or scrub and recoat where the surface is vinyl or tile.
Documented and inspected
An Inspection Report on the work performed, a Schedule of Work reviewed with you periodically, and a monthly Contact Evaluation. Useful anywhere; genuinely useful in an audited facility.
Where we stop
Food-contact and regulated production sanitation stays with your own program and protocols. We write our scope so the boundary is explicit and nobody assumes the other party has it covered.
Farm Country Has Its Own Soil Calendar
Henry County is heavy agricultural ground, and a commercial building in Napoleon takes a different soil load through the year than one in a suburb does.
| Season | What comes through the door | What we plan for |
|---|---|---|
| Spring | Field mud through the thaw and planting | Extra entry-zone frequency, matting checked |
| Summer | Dry dust and grit | Project window — full strip and wax |
| Harvest | Chaff, dust and heavy vehicle traffic | Shorter cycles on entries and corridors |
| Winter | Road salt and ice-melt haze | Late-winter scrub and recoat before finish fails |
None of that is exotic. It just means a maintenance calendar built around the local year works considerably better than four evenly spaced visits.

Napoleon Commercial Cleaning FAQs
Do you do food-plant sanitation?
Regulated production and food-contact sanitation stays with your own in-house program, run to your own protocols. What we handle is everything around it — offices, restrooms, locker rooms, break rooms, corridors, non-production floors and administration space. We put that boundary in the written scope so there is no gap and no overlap.
Can you work around a plant that runs multiple shifts?
Yes. We schedule around the quietest window rather than a standard evening slot and phase work by area where a facility never fully stops. Tell us the shift pattern at the walkthrough.
Is Napoleon within your service area?
Yes. Henry County is a straight run west from Toledo along US-24, and we work Napoleon and the surrounding communities. Periodic floor care travels comfortably; for recurring janitorial routes, call and tell us the building and frequency and we will be straight with you about what we can commit to.
Do you handle county and school buildings?
Yes. Public buildings usually mean daytime public traffic, after-hours cleaning and a documented accountability trail — which is how we work as standard. School floor restoration is best scheduled into summer break, and that calendar fills early.
Do you provide the supplies?
Yes, we bring our own supplies and equipment to every visit, and on janitorial agreements we keep your restroom and break room consumables stocked. Green Seal-certified environmentally friendly chemicals are available on request.
